A group of 20 specialists came to Akinitis for a six-day retreat led by Petr Palagin. The school has been returning to Akinitis for five consecutive years, bringing its participants together for several days of focused work, shared time and rest.
The programme combined group work with time to relax, spend time together and recharge. With accommodation, meals and the surrounding nature all in one place, the group could move through the retreat without the usual travel between locations.
The participants came from Poland, the USA, Russia and the United Kingdom. For the fifth consecutive year, Akinitis provided the setting for the school’s programme – this time for six days of work, conversation, relaxation and recovery.

We never get tired of this place! We have returned here five times already – in spring, summer, autumn, and winter. In every season, the surroundings and the hotel itself are equally delightful.
For us, it is, above all, the perfect base for trekking. After a long day of mountain hikes, it feels wonderful to return to a place that is always spotlessly clean, with a beautiful, breathtaking view stretching from the windows.
A huge asset of this property is the incredibly kind, smiling, and helpful staff – after so many visits, we already feel right at home. We highly recommend it with a clear conscience and will definitely be back for a sixth time!
I had the opportunity to attend a workshop at the Akintis Hotel in the hamlet of Sveti Jernej nad Muto, and I wholeheartedly recommend this place! The guesthouse delights visitors with breathtaking mountain views that are perfect for walking, finding focus, and recharging. A historic church with an atmospheric cemetery stands right nearby, lending the surroundings a unique, magical ambiance. Guests can also enjoy exquisite local cuisine and incredibly friendly, helpful staff who ensure everyone’s comfort. It is an ideal spot in Slovenia for a group trip or a training event.

An absolutely fantastic place that you just want to return to!
Staying there was pure pleasure from the very first to the last day. The views of the surrounding mountains are breathtaking and create an amazing atmosphere for relaxation. The room was very comfortable, clean, and perfectly prepared. The food was also a huge plus – the meals served were simply delicious, fresh, and prepared with great attention to detail. And finally, the owner Denis and the manager Ania – incredibly nice, warm, and helpful hosts who care for every guest like family. Everything was just super cool! I recommend Akinitis Hotel with all my heart to anyone looking for a unique place to unwind.
I have been visiting this place for years, and I would happily stay at the AKINITIS Hotel all year round if I could.
