This policy explains how Akinitis Hotels collects and uses personal data through this website, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Slovenian data protection law.

What we collect

We only collect what you send us. When you complete the enquiry form, we receive:

• your phone number
• the dates and length of your stay
• the number of people in your group
• anything you write in the message field

We also use Google Analytics, which records how the site is used — pages visited, approximate location, device and browser. This is statistical and is not used to identify you.

Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry and prepare an offer for your event. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To keep records of our correspondence and fulfil legal and accounting obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• To understand how the website is used and improve it. Legal basis: consent, given through the cookie banner (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.

Who else sees it

Your data is handled by the people at Akinitis who prepare your offer. It is also processed by service providers acting on our instructions: our web hosting provider, our email provider, and Google Analytics. Providers outside the European Economic Area process data under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

We share data with public authorities only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it
