A software company from Ljubljana brought thirty people to Akinitis for a three-day planning offsite. They took the entire property, which meant the group never had to share space with other guests or move between venues.
Mornings ran as structured working sessions in the meeting room. Afternoons were left open — some of the group walked the forest trails, others used the sauna. Meals were served when the programme needed them rather than at fixed restaurant hours.
The organisers said afterwards that having accommodation, meeting space and dining in one location removed most of the logistics they normally spend time on.
