A couple from Graz married at Akinitis on a Saturday in late September. Sixty guests came, and almost all of them stayed for the full weekend rather than driving home the same night.
The ceremony took place on the terrace, with the valley behind. Dinner moved indoors as the evening cooled, and the party carried on in the lounge. Because the guests were already staying on the property, nobody had to arrange transport.
The couple used the Friday evening for a small welcome dinner and the Sunday morning for a long breakfast — the kind of unhurried schedule that only works when the venue is yours for the weekend.
