From mountain ranges to beautiful lakes and picturesque valleys, this region offers routes for every taste and level of fitness. One of the most popular trails in Koroška is the path to Mount Peca. This mountain is famous for its magnificent views and stunning landscapes. Climbing Peca can be a challenge for some travelers, but it rewards them with breathtaking views from the summit.
The Koroška region offers hiking adventures for lovers of extreme endeavors as well as occasional hikers. Here, everyone can experience the incredible performance given by nature.
Explore more than 100 kilometers of marked hiking trails. Numerous cart tracks and footpaths lead you over the edges of the Alpine foothills and through the mighty green forests to the most beautiful views. The great vastness of Pohorje and the mountain chain of Kozjak, Olševa, and Smrekovec offer opportunities for actively experiencing nature, while the peaks of Peca, Uršlja Gora, and Raduha sparkle from afar.
